I've recently purchased two Mag-R 30 Cal and two Mag-R 20 Cal bullet feeders. I was very impressed with the customer service, speed of delivery, and especially in the products. I've listed a few points below that impressed me with this transaction and the products.
1. I sent out a message, via Messenger, to SoCal at almost 2am Eastern time Saturday to ask questions. I really didn't expect to get a reply until much later in the day. A few moments later I received a very friendly reply. I was given many answers to the many questions I had and the replies were always thorough and friendly. This is great customer service, something that seems to be lost on many businesses these days.
2. The products arrived and after unpacking I checked the indexing. Three of the four indexed very well, but the forth spun smoothly. I sent a message asking about this issue and was told that on the bottom of the cylinder were two small holes and the outermost hole had a screw or hex head screw. Turning the screw slightly engaged the ball spring plunger, and the indexing functioned correctly.
3. I'm using a Mr. BulletFeeder die for my reloading and the Mag-R seat themselves about 3/4" onto the die. The cylinder isn't going anywhere. The balanced weight of the cylinder provides downward pressure insuring that the throat of the die is closed off after delivering a projectile, preventing multiple projectiles from dropping.
I haven't cycled through an entire batch of rounds, but from what I see so far this setup is a inexpensive and far less completed alternative to electronic bullet feeders. It also takes up far less room. Also, the Mag-Rs that I received came with the updated revolver shaped aluminum plates, nice touch. I will definitely be doing more business with this company.
